These next few posts are WAY past due and very much "old news", but oh well...Enjoy!
We started off 2010 by celebrating Ian's 6th Birthday. I can't believe he's that old already--6 sounds so much older than 5. Anyway, we gave him the choice of having a birthday party with friends or staying in a hotel with us for a mini vacation. Of course he chose the vacation, because he loves staying in hotels. We invited some family to join us at Thanksgiving Point. Matt, Marianne and Lily stayed over and Grandma and Grandpa brought Mel, Trevor and Jace. The plan was to swim, go to Cabela's and visit the Dinosaur Museum (or mu-i-sum, as Ian says it).
When we woke up in the hotel and were getting ready to go to the museum, Ian declared (rather majestically, I might add),"Today is the day that Ian returns to the dinosaur mu-i-sum." Yes it was, and it turned out to be a great day!
