Zzzzzzz...

If you know anything about my husband, you know that he likes to sleep. He can sleep anytime, anywhere and believe me, he does! Now that he works the overnight shift, it's even worse (if it could get any worse). Church is particularly hard for Rob and it stresses me out! Each Sunday, I spend 3 hours pinching, flipping, and nudging him to wake him up. I'm always afraid that he'll start snoring, or worse, fall off of his chair.
Last sunday was especially difficult, because it was his first week of overnight work. As we were sitting in Sunday School, I could hardly pay attention, because I was so focued on keeping Rob awake. I tried every move in the book, paying careful attention to making my attempts nonchalantly. I discovered that reaching down and grabbing his calf was very effective, so I did that a few times. I was just about ready to give up, because my maneuvers stopped working--he was out like a light. I gave my last effort--a good flip on the calf. Rob was so startled that he just about jumped out of his seat and said (in a loud whisper, luckily), "Don't forget my calf." I don't think anyone else heard, but I pretty much laughed my head off. What am I going to do with him?!

P.S. Sorry Sister Allen--it's not you, it's us:)
